Bretta has a Bachelors degree from Drake University and a Masters degree from the Adler Graduate School with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her experience includes working with adolescents in the Minneapolis Public Schools as a Behavioral Specialist and later in various agencies as a Mental Health Practitioner. She also has experience as a Parenting Specialist and Educator, helping families improve and strengthen their relationships.

Along with her work experience, she is a mother of two and married for over 20 years. She understands the difficulties we face as individuals, parents and couples. Using a holistic approach to counseling, she works to help people uncover the reasons for their problems, while helping them move forward towards a life that is healthy and productive in mind, body and spirit.

Her interests and experience include pre-marital and marital counseling, recovery from adultery and betrayal, conflict resolution, parent education, anxiety, depression, teens, adolescents and young adults, and self-esteem.

We all have times in our lives that we are hurting, struggling, and searching; Bretta would love to be a part of helping people find their healing and purpose in life. And she believes that it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.
