Doug Nathan, Fund Development Specialist
Watercourse welcomes Doug Nathan as its new fund development specialist. Doug has held a number of leadership positions in development including most recently with an international relief nonprofit focusing on the mental health needs of children who have experienced disaster. “I’m excited to join the dedicated team here at Watercourse,” Doug said. A long-time resident of Minneapolis, Doug believes strongly that all people should have access to quality health care. “Watercourse is doing a terrific job in providing mental health services to undeserved children and families. It is a privilege to help in advancing this important and meaningful work.”
Doug has been involved with capital campaigns for major organizations like the Guthrie Theater to social and peer-to-peer campaigns at emerging organizations like Headwaters Relief Organization, an international relief agency focusing on children’s mental health. He is committed to providing outstanding donor service and building meaningful philanthropic partnerships in the community.
Doug studied painting at the Minneapolis Institute of Art and is a designer and builder of limited edition, handmade boxes and chests for upscale home furnishings stores, galleries, interior designers, and collectors.
