Hello! My name is Kara Underberg and I am a school-based therapist. I graduated from St. Mary's University with a master's in counseling and psychology. I have worked as a special education teacher in the Minneapolis Public Schools for the past six years. I loved all the students, families, and community members I have worked with and am excited to continue these relationships in a new role. My therapeutic philosophy is grounded in social activism, empowerment, and play. I am happy to serve Spanish-speaking clients and families. I like to spend time with family and friends, plan trips, and read books in my free time.
