Sarah Jackson, MSW, LGSW

School-based Therapist

Sarah works as a school-based therapist for Lake Nokomis Wenonah and Keewaydin campuses. She received her Masters in Clinical Social Work from St. Catherine University and the University of St. Thomas.

Sarah has worked in the field for nearly 10 years in a variety of settings, which include working in group homes with individuals with disabilities; in-home therapy with children and families; and in schools with elementary and middle school students. She feels passionately about providing therapeutic services within schools to ensure an equitable approach. Sarah leans heavily on co-regulating and the mind-body connection when working with clients. Other modalities utilized within Sarah’s practice include Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Systems Approach, and Play Therapy.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys watching movies, reading, and spending time with her family.
