Sydney Timm
MSW Intern
Sydney is a school-based therapy intern at Whittier Elementary School. She is in her second year of her Masters in Social Work program at the University of Minnesota, specializing in clinical mental health. She has experience working with families and children in a variety of settings, such as in-home services, residential treatment for children with disabilities, middle and elementary school, and center-based behavior therapy. She has experience working with children with autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, learning disabilities, and adjustment disorders ranging from ages 2-17. She is passionate about building strong relationships with children and their families in order to support them in navigating stressors in school and life and meeting their goals.
When she’s not at Whittier or in classes, she is teaching dance, reading, or going for walks.
