Asmaa Elbendary
School-based Therapist
Asmaa is passionate about supporting students as they navigate the challenges of school, personal growth, and life outside the classroom. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and is currently pursuing a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which strengthens her ability to understand both personal and systemic factors that influence student success and well-being.
She works with students who are experiencing stress, exploring their identity, facing academic pressures, or struggling with the weight of cultural and social expectations. Many of the students she serves come from diverse backgrounds, including immigrant, first-generation, and bicultural identities, and benefit from her ability to understand the complexity of balancing multiple cultural narratives.
Asmaa provides a safe, welcoming space where students can share openly, build resilience, and develop skills to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Drawing from Humanistic, Adlerian, and strength-based approaches, she helps students reconnect with their strengths, set meaningful goals, and build confidence. She also values collaboration with families, teachers, and school staff to ensure each student feels supported both in and outside of the classroom.
Asmaa offers both in-person and telehealth options to make counseling accessible and flexible for students and families.
