Lyndsay Gomos, LICSW
Clinic and School-Based Therapist
Lyndsay (she/her) has been a dedicated member of Watercourse Counseling Center since 2016. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine University in 2015. Lyndsay provides individual supervision to pre-licensed clinicians practicing at Watercourse in her role as Lead Clinical Supervisor and continues to provide school-based therapy to a few children. She also oversees the Watercourse Practicum Program, providing individual clinical supervision to MSW graduate students and maintaining partnerships with the local MSW programs in the Twin Cities area.
Lyndsay’s clinical practice centers on a non-directive, experiential approach to play therapy that empowers children to lead their own therapeutic process. She views play as a child’s primary mode of expression and integrates caregiver collaboration as a foundational aspect of holistic treatment. Lyndsay’s therapeutic and supervisory frameworks are informed by relational approaches, somatic experiencing, reflective practice, and neurodiversity acceptance. She embodies inclusive and compassionate leadership and a deep commitment to racial and social justice. She is dedicated to fostering environments that promote authenticity, equity, and systemic awareness in therapy, supervision, and leadership. Lyndsay is preparing to begin EMDR certification in 2025.
