Board of Directors

My name is Dr. Michael Beverly, Jr., and I was born and raised in Omaha, NE. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in finance from Creighton University and my master’s in business administration (MBA) with an emphasis in accounting from Bellevue University. In February 2024, I obtained my Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree with an emphasis in Leadership from Walden University. My professional career extends over twelve years within the banking and nonprofit industry, where I held positions ranging from Risk Analyst, Assistant Controller, Controller, Internal Audit Manager, Director of Finance, and Chief Financial Officer. I also spent three years in public accounting as Director, Accounting & Tax Services.

I enjoy being "the cool dad" to my daughter (16) and bonus son (10) (their words, not mine) outside of my professional demands. I love reading as many books as my free time allows (usually one book a week), volunteering within the community via board positions, and mentoring our youth.
